陳醫生你好,
我是一個中六學生.
不知何時開始,
有一個搔頭的惡習.
甚至搔至流血損傷,
我好像不受控制.
不但產生大量頭皮,
還每天也搔幾次.
有時搔頭,
一搔就搔了半小時.
而且當身上有損傷,
也忍不住去抓破.
即使感到痛,
甚至流血都忍不住.
不但影響日常生活,
引致額頭損傷不斷,
康復後餘下灰印,
十分難看.
醫生,
為何我會有這怪習,
我該怎擺脫這問題?
我真的十分憂心,
請你幫助我.謝謝

Yes I do give lectures and sharings frequently, and I had just been HKU for a lecture on mental health last month. So if there is anything I could be helpful, please let me know.

Dr. chan
Recently,My father-in-law always forget where he put the things, when he cann't find it ,then he insisted it was stolen by the maidservant. He also worried my-mother-in law and the maidservant give him poison.He always ask the same question many times.
Can you tell us what can we do? How to help him.

Dr. Chan,
I feel touched by your passage as I could feel your heart in your profession and you have try your best to understand the needs of patients not only the physical needs but also their psychological needs. I am a registered social worker, mainly deal with patients who have mental illnesses. It is not easy for their rehabilitative journey. I hope to have a time to have a sharing with you if you would conduct any lectures or talks in university? Indeed, I am a HKU alumni. Will you come to HKU for any classes?

Dear Dr. Chan,
I have a brother who have mental illness for many many many years. Actually, not less than 35 years. He is now about 50 years old. Actually, his life is meaningless and also useless for the society. However, my eldest brother still offer him money to see private doctor who I consider is very expensive and also helpless. His illness is still very very serious. His ill combines all kinds of mental sickness that you have mentioned in your articles. For these few years, he can't help control himself to spend money on things and stuff that are not useful to him. Ironically, he successfuly apply credit cards which he doesn't deserve to have. He use the cards to buy and to borrow money. We are so worry about him and I think it's time to consulte another doctor. Do you mind advising me what your consultation fee and medicine fee is? And where is your clinic as well?

Dear Dr. Chan,
I went to a Psychological Concelling today, and do a Depression Test, the Concellor said I am in a high margin mark (40 marks) ,and said I better go to see Psychiatry. However, i am concerning the fee, coz my job is very unstable, could you tell me about how much will you charge for one visit?
