My parents got some kind of mental illness, should be depression, seemed like they are unhappy and worry all the time. I want to bring them to you for medical consultation.

My mother suffers from the same problem as Annie Mok's case. She always says that some people hurt her and even enter home to steal her things (whatever like clothes, cooking tools, shower gel, etc). Also feels people tail after her and monitor her activities. Kindly please give some advice and send your reply to my email address.

Nice to meet you here.
As my mother has the mental disease for 20 years. Now she is consulting in Kln hospital for about 18 years, but the disease can't better. She is always thinking other people hurt her family. I heard my father said this diesease can't cure, just keep it. But when i look your website , know that it isn't. I am so happy to know you here.
I want to ask like my mother situation, how long it will take to cure and how much it will be please?

Dear Dr.Chan,
My brother suffered mental illness, and he also committed an offense recently - he hurted our grandma. He actually has the appointments with Princess Margaret Hospital when he was arrested. However, the mental assessment required by the court stated that he did not have mental illness... we are really confused by the result as my brother has significant symptoms when he is at home (e.g.talks himself)now we not only concern his detaining by the police, but also the real mental treatment that could help him. I know my brother becomes like that because of abasing & being unemployed. I really want to do something to help him, I don't want to see him abandon the whole life remained (he is just 26 now)... thanks for your reading

hesitating about seeing a doctor. and what is the cost of every appointment?
got mental problems, but can't speak of it. no it doesn't feel right to speak about it. i am so confused. don't know what i'm doing, what i should do.
i wrote something on the forum:

but another day i would be very suspicious of what i've written, suspicious of my real situation. so always got no action in the end and back to original state. like a cycle - feel very ill > feel ok > feel very ill...

I hv almost never sleep in 4 out of past 7 days since I hv learnt a lot of new things, due to I assigned parts of my thingings to some non-developed parts of my brain. Ah, Dr Chan, I don't know if it is better to come back to yours since I really not wants to take so heavy medicines....but I need your great treatment as well...pls tell me something la, I know u are waiting for my requests....ha...I think I cannot clever than u so I leave u...delete this msg after u read if u wants... THANKS..
