Dear cai,
As Dr. Chan said before, I would like to contact you by email but unfortunately we don't have your email address. For further information, please call 2882 0223.
To persuade a potential client to attend psychiatric consultation, the following points may help:
i, Avoid mention the word "Psychiatric" in order to reduce the fear of being different from others.
ii, We can divert client's attention to her/his physical discomfort such as insomnia, skin problem, pounding heart or constipation and recommend to consult a doctor for body check.
iii, Never argue with client's delusional thought, show our acceptance and support to their unsecured feeling, continuously discuss with them in caring tone.
iv, Seek help from psychiatrist for out-reaching consultation.
v, In case of Emergency, relatives are advised to accompany client to the nearest Accident & Emergency dept and client may admit to psychiatric hospital for instant treatment.

看你的問題,
似屬 焦慮病徵 (有社交焦慮 與 強迫陣症狀)。
假如 確實已經 影響你的 正常生活 與社交,
則應該 找心理專家 或有經驗的 心理輔導員,
看看能否 為你找出 你恐懼的 原因。
如問題 持續嚴重, 則可能 需要藥物 幫助。

Hi Cai,
Thank you for asking for your mother's issue. I can see your worries. But please be reassured that many elderly like that got appropriate treatment will become much better.
For confidentiality sake, I will ask our psy registered nurse to contact you by e-mail soon and discuss with you the possible methods.
